a surprisingly good sports bra August 1, 2010

I'm a 34B. I especially like to wear this bra during high impact sports like fast horse riding or volleyball where there is a lot of bounce and movement. There is absolutely no ride up (3 hooks on back), the wide straps don't slip at all, and the bra doesn't twist around the torso. During sports you can wear it and forget it is even on. As some reviewers noted, the materials that make it stay put might also irritate. Washing helps a bit, but as the bra performs so well, I can forgive a tiny bit of scratchiness. It keeps good separation, and for an unpadded bra, provides adequate nipple coverage. It breathes very well and doesn't attract moisture. It doesn't take an excessive amount of time to drip dry. It doesn't lose any performance quality after multiple machine washings, dryings and wearings. The heather grey is a great option that stays looking fresh. The lace-up styling and the bow are extra pluses. This bra easily outperforms every sports bra I have ever tried! Good job Bali!!

Since I am *ahem* "well endowed" in the chest area, I do not like or need traditional drop flap nursing bras. I am prone to mastitis infections and this bra is perfect for my nursing needs: supportive, mostly cotton, no underwire. It is comfortable to sleep in and the fit is good. The straps are made from a nylon like material, so they are strong, supportive, and don't stretch. I recommend this bra to any breastfeeding mother who doesn't like traditional nursing bras. It's a more healthy alternative than wearing wires and synthetic fabrics while breastfeeding.

I love this as my summer bra because of the cotton, especially when it is hot and humid. I do love the wire-free feature. It's great for wearing around the house, outside gardening or for an everyday bra. But, sometimes after a long day, it gets fatiguing. When newer the straps are still to tight. I wish it had more adjustments so that, when you are home relaxing, you can let it looser for less pressure on the shoulders. Also, I could use more support at the bottom. My regular bra choice is Bali #3372 Double Support (nylon?) that seems to be more supportive. Maybe if this one (3036) had a wider elastic at the bottom (or more reinforcing curved support panel at the bottom) for a bit more support. Sometimes I have to make it tighter to use it as a workout bra (can't find the right fit that does not go over my head) and it presses too tight on my diaphragm, giving me heartburn. But, mostly I use it for the breathable comfort factor in summer. Nylon bras are just too hot for the hot humid summers here

This bra is as close to fitting right as I can get I guess. It ain't easy to find one that is comfortable! This is fairly close. The straps fall off my shoulders no matter how high I hitch it up. I have come up with the idea to put tucks on both sides of center to bring the straps closer together in front so they won't slip off. I think it is a copy of an old Playtex bra that I loved but has been discontinued.

I purchased this product for around $22, including shipping. I think this bra is a good value, considering that a Bali bra will cost nearer to $30 in a store. The sizing is accurate, and I consider myself lucky because my size (34D) is generally difficult to find. But this product is available in many sizes and colors.
The lack of aesthetic appeal lowers my rating of this item. This bra is neither youthful in fashion nor particularly feminine. I may be biased; I am only 18 and still rather vain regarding undergarments. But I don't think that I will ever wear this around my boyfriend, rather to the gym.
