I don't know whether or not this product is an apple product or if it is a generic brand. However, I bought this headset and it broke after a week of using it. The end of the cord tore and I couldn't hear anything through any of the earbuds anymore. And the mic did not work. Product is a rip off. I recommend you don't purchase it!

Item was clearly a fake "official" apple headphones. They were not official at all and are also made of extremely flimsy material. Apparently in the eyes of the OEM shop, official apple headphones means cheap knock offs that you could find in a dollar store. These headphones from the OEM shop seller are a piece of trash and I would never buy anything from them again. Please save your money and DONT buy from the OEM shop seller.

In less than one week these cheaply made headphones unraveled. They are definitely inferior knockoffs. The volume button doesn't even work. I'm so upset that I wasted my money on fakes.

This is agreat gadget!! Works perfectly and is so compact and easy to use. The tiny volume control is on the tiny cord and the whole thing delivers quality sound and is private so no one else is disturbed.
